MaxiPARTS (ASX:MXI) announced an operating net profit before tax of $4.2 million for Q1 FY27, representing a 26.5% increase compared to the previous corresponding period.

The quarterly financial results were achieved despite macroeconomic uncertainty, contrasting with the lower earnings base recorded during the store start-up phase in the prior corresponding period.

The group stated that revenue reached $72.8 million, while earnings benefited from double-digit growth in the higher-margin Japanese parts programme and Förch Australia business alongside supply chain optimisation and lower interest costs.

The company expects FY27 earnings to benefit from eight months of contribution from the recent Air Brake Systems acquisition, with additional profit synergies anticipated in FY28 and FY29.

Following the announcement, the MaxiPARTS share price was up at $1.92.

MaxiPARTS operates as an Australian supplier of commercial vehicle parts and truck accessories across a national branch network.

The business continues to pursue growth through organic expansion initiatives alongside strategic corporate acquisitions in the automotive industry.
