Maritana Minerals (ASX:MRT) has secured its final regulatory permits and extended its early works agreement for the Black Swan Processing Hub.

This development concludes the statutory approval process following earlier approvals from DMPE on July 27 and DWER on Aug. 5.

"The native vegetation clearing permit was the last statutory approval required for the full processing plant; this is a significant milestone for Maritana and the development of the Black Swan Processing Hub in preparation for first gold in H2 2027," said Maritana Minerals Managing Director and CEO Grant Haywood.

The expanded deal with GR Engineering Services (ASX:GNG) adds $6.5 million to the previous $25 million commitment, advancing key equipment packages including elution columns and CIL bolted tanks.

Following the announcement, the Maritana Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.70.

The company is currently running a 60,000-metre resource conversion campaign across the Kalgoorlie Project area.

The site sits 50km northeast of Kalgoorlie in the Western Australian Goldfields and centres around a 2.5Mtpa processing capacity.
