Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) has appointed experienced chartered accountant Jamie Byrde as CFO to strengthen its executive finance and governance capabilities as it advances its gold exploration portfolio in Côte d'Ivoire.
The corporate update follows recent operational progress at the company's West African projects, where exploration activities continue to scale towards scoping studies and resource evaluation.
"Jamie’s appointment comes at an important time for Many Peaks as we move towards delivery of our scoping study and ramp up drilling at Ferke," said Many Peaks Minerals Managing Director Travis Schwertfeger.
Byrde brings over 20 years of resource industry experience, including previous roles managing capital raisings of approximately $100 million and leading cross-border acquisitions across international jurisdictions.
The executive addition provides key financial structure as the company advances exploration activities across its West African gold assets.
Following the announcement, the Many Peaks Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.84.
