Many Peaks Minerals raises $27.5M for gold expansion

Share

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) secured commitments for a highly supported $27.5 million equity placement to accelerate growth across its gold portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire.

The capital raise involves the issuance of approximately 30.6 million new fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of $0.90 per share, representing a 3.2% discount to the company’s last closing price and a 10.7% discount to the 15-day VWAP up to May 19.

Jointly led by Canaccord Genuity and SCP Resource Finance, the placement boosts Many Peaks’ cash position to over $33 million at closing.

The newly capitalised explorer will primarily utilise the funds to rapidly advance its flagship Ferké Gold Project, which recently posted an inaugural mineral resource estimate of 1.32Moz at 1.54g/t gold at the Ouarigue prospect.

Key allocations include a massive +15,000m resource expansion drilling programme and the completion of a pre-feasibility study for Ouarigue by Q4 2026.

Additionally, a planned +20,000m drilling campaign will target multiple high-priority prospects along the +37km Leraba mineralised corridor, alongside continued exploration across the Odienné and Baga projects.

Tranche 2 will consist of 2,122,224 shares, which includes an $800,000 subscription by company directors.

The second tranche remains subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for July.

At the time of reporting, Many Peaks Minerals’ share price was $0.96.
