Karoon Energy (ASX:KAR) recorded second-quarter sales revenue of US$116.4 million after producing 1.08 million barrels of oil equivalent across its international assets.

The performance follows recent operational changes, including the finished operator transition of the Baúna floating production storage and offloading vessel on May 27.

"At the start of 2026, we commenced a clear and ambitious programme to strengthen Karoon’s operations at Baúna," said Karoon Energy CEO and MD Carri Lockhart.

The company completed maintenance at Baúna to achieve an operating efficiency of 97% while restoring total asset production to approximately 22,000 barrels of oil per day.

Following the announcement, the Karoon Energy share price was up at $1.59.

The producer ended the period with US$363.6 million in liquidity after repurchasing 2.8 million shares on-market during the quarter.

The energy company continues to progress field development plans across its offshore asset portfolio in Brazil and the United States.
