Great Southern Mining (ASX:GSN) has commenced an 18-hole reverse circulation drilling programme spanning approximately 2,300m at the Amy Clarke discovery within the Duketon Gold Project.
This maiden reverse circulation programme follows previous air core drilling programmes that defined significant gold mineralisation over a 4.7-kilometre strike.
The company stated that previous air core drilling results included intercepts such as 17m at 1.4 g/t of gold from 20m.
Assays remain pending for 16 holes covering 3,089m drilled at the Mon Ami Gold Project, alongside 38 holes covering 4,726m completed at the Golden Boulder discovery.
The company stated that additional drilling activities are planned to further test regional targets and evaluate mineralisation potential across its tenement holdings.
Following the announcement, the Great Southern Mining share price was unchanged at $0.027.
The business focuses on the exploration and evaluation of economic mineral deposits across Western Australia and Queensland.
