Great Southern Mining (ASX:GSN) has commenced drilling at its Golden Boulder discovery as part of a 20,000-metre exploration programme.
The programme represents the largest exploration campaign undertaken by the company since acquiring the Duketon Gold Project tenure in 2021.
A reverse circulation drill rig is currently active on site at the project.
The company stated that the drilling aims to test continuity and depth extensions across a 3.5-kilometre mineralised strike length.
Success in this campaign could expand the existing resource base ahead of future development studies.
Following the announcement, Southern Mining's share price was unchanged at $0.02.
The company holds 909km2 of tenure in the Laverton district within trucking distance of existing gold processing plants.
