
CGN Resources starts 4,000m drilling campaign

CGN Resources (ASX:CGR) has commenced a 4,000-metre reverse circulation drilling programme at its Christmas Well Project in Western Australia.
The campaign marks the company's first drilling initiative across the project following 12 months of exploration planning and target generation.
"Commencing drilling at Christmas Well is a milestone for the company," said CGN Resources Managing Director Stan Wholley.
Drilling contractor Impact Drilling began operations on July 18, with initial assay results expected four weeks after sample submission.
Following the announcement, the CGN Resources share price was unchanged at $0.09.
The drilling programme will systematically test the Ox Tongue, Lambs Fry, Sweetbread, and Rocky Mountain Oyster target areas.
The project is located in the Leonora Gold Province, adjacent to existing deposits including Gwalia, Tower Hill, and Harbour Lights.
