  • Caspin Resources announced a 45% expansion in contained tin at its Kelpie deposit.
  • The updated estimate lifts the total contained tin to 28,000 tonnes at the Bygoo Project.
  • The company aims to establish the viability of a standalone open pit tin operation.

Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN) updated its mineral resource estimate for the Kelpie Tin deposit, expanding contained tin by 45% to 28,000 tonnes.

The new figure compares with the maiden estimate completed in September 2025.

“With tin prices remaining strong, the grade and scale of the Kelpie Resource, together with its predominantly open-pit potential, provide an encouraging foundation as we begin to assess the development economics of the project,” said Caspin Resources Managing Director Greg Miles.

The total resource now stands at 6.5 million tonnes at 0.43% tin, with 25% categorised in the indicated resource bracket.

The company stated that the drilling results demonstrate mineralisation continuing down plunge across a 200-metre near-surface gap.

Following the announcement, the Caspin Resources share price was down at $0.10.

Caspin Resources is an Australian mineral exploration company focused on greenfield and brownfield discoveries in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The company operates the 100%-owned Bygoo Tin Project alongside its flagship Yarawinda Brook Nickel-Copper-PGE Project.
