  • Caspin Resources discovered a high-grade tin and tungsten prospect at the Taylors Hill site.
  • The explorer reviewed historical drilling that returned up to 3.69% tungsten trioxide and 3.20% tin.
  • Rising global tungsten prices prompted a project-wide review across the broader Bygoo Project area.

Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN) identified a new high-grade tin and tungsten target at its Taylors Hill prospect within the Bygoo Project.

The company highlighted historical drilling results that included 3m at 3.69% tungsten trioxide from 44.2m depth.

“In parallel with resource extension activities at the Kelpie Deposit, the Company has been working through the mineralisation potential of the entire Bygoo Project, focussed primarily on tin, but cognisant that other metals are commonly found associated with tin in the region,” said Caspin Resources Managing Director Greg Miles.

The prospect features a tungsten soil anomaly extending over 800m alongside extensive historical surface workings.

Following the announcement, the Caspin Resources share price was unchanged at $0.12.

The Taylors Hill prospect sits near the Ardlethan Mine and complements existing regional drill targets at Ardlethan South.

Caspin Resources stated that it will continue investigating regional potential while advancing extension drilling at the nearby Kelpie deposit.
