Capricorn Metals (ASX:CMM) achieved a 50% increase in underlying net profit after tax to $327.2 million for the 2026 financial year.
The operational expansion pushed total sales revenue to $769.3 million, up from previous periods due to strong gold pricing.
The strong operational cash flows supported growth initiatives while maintaining robust balance sheet flexibility.
The miner allocated $133.4 million towards developing the Karlawinda Expansion Project alongside early works at the Mt Gibson Gold Project.
Following the announcement, the Capricorn Metals share price was up at $17.30.
The board has declared a fully franked final dividend of 5 cents per share, totalling $22.8 million.
The business continues to transition into a tax-paying entity, expecting a single final tax payment of $90 million to $100 million in FY27.
Production guidance for FY27 is targeted between 137,000 and 147,000 ounces of gold at an all-in sustaining cost of $1,900 to $2,100 per ounce.
