
Brookside Energy advances Suttles Pad well completions
- Brookside Energy begins completion operations on two wells at the Suttles Pad in Oklahoma.
- The company's stock traded down 0.6% at $0.41 following the operational update.
- Operations will feature a continuous 64-stage stimulation programme across the Sycamore and Woodford formations.
Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) has commenced completion operations on its Sabres and Whalers wells in Oklahoma.
The project moves into its final major phase before first production, following successful drilling and casing work.
“Our focus is on executing the programme safely and efficiently, getting every planned stage away as designed and then moving through clean-out and flowback before bringing both wells online,” said Brookside Energy Managing Director and CEO David Prentice.
The team will execute 64 planned stimulation stages using a continuous zipper-frac programme before progressing to drill-out and flowback operations.
Following the announcement, the Brookside Energy share price was down at $0.41.
Brookside Energy holds an approximate 70% working interest in the Suttles development project.
The energy company operates in the Anadarko Basin's SWISH Area of Interest, targeting the Sycamore and Woodford geological formations.
