Aerometrex (ASX:AMX) secured a major aerial imagery and spatial data services contract with the New South Wales government.

Under the agreement, Aerometrex's proprietary MetroMap platform has been selected as the primary aerial imagery provider for the NSW Government Digital Information Office.

The contract boasts a total contract value of $1.5 million across an initial three-year term.

The agreement also features two optional one-year extension periods at the NSW Government’s election, potentially extending the partnership under a "3+1+1" framework.

Secured via a formal procurement process, the licensing model is designed to support seamless access across multiple state agencies.

The delivery framework relies heavily on the MetroMap platform, featuring advanced API integration with enterprise GIS platforms, a structured imagery update cycle ensuring a minimum annual refresh for metropolitan and key regional areas, and full access to MetroMap’s extensive historical imagery archive.

The latest agreement represents a significant commercial milestone for Aerometrex, further validating MetroMap’s strategy and technical capability to meet the complex operational and technical requirements of large-scale government bodies.

Industry analysts note that the contract cements MetroMap's position as a critical spatial data service provider for the public sector.
