Vital Metals (ASX:VML) is Canada's first and North America's second rare earths miner, commencing mining at its Nechalacho Project in 2021. It aims to become the world's first producer of commercial quantities of light and heavy rare earths. The company's objectives are to become the lowest cost producer of mixed rare earth oxide outside of China and to develop one of the largest and longest life rare earth projects in the world. Vital Metals is also committed to developing its rare earth resources in a sustainable and ethical manner.
