SSV Network
About
SSV Network is a decentralized Ethereum staking infrastructure protocol utilizing Secret Shared Validator technology, also known as Distributed Validator Technology. The protocol splits an Ethereum validator key among multiple non-trusting node operators using a Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus mechanism, enabling fault-tolerant, active-active validator key management without compromising security or operational uptime. The infrastructure allows stakers, liquid staking protocols, custodians, and institutional asset managers to run Ethereum validators across decentralized node clusters while keeping validator keys offline and protected against single-point failure risks.

Operations
Products and/or services of SSV Network
- Distributed Validator Technology Protocol: Open-source decentralization infrastructure that splits Ethereum validator keys into shared key shares distributed across independent node operators. The network secures over 5.1 million ETH across more than 72,000 active validators utilizing a Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus mechanism.
- Native Token Staking and Liquidity: Governance and utility token staking module where users lock tokens to receive liquid receipt tokens representing staked positions. The mechanism supports over 4.2 million staked tokens and generates protocol rewards from underlying network operational activity.
- Operator Node Network: Infrastructure network consisting of 1,961 independent node operators running specialized software to execute Ethereum consensus duties. Operators maintain active-active redundancy and fault tolerance, processing validator duties across multi-operator clusters with custodial and non-custodial key management.
- Institutional Staking Infrastructure: Enterprise-grade staking services tailored for exchanges, custodians, treasuries, and exchange-traded products. The infrastructure enables cold-storage key management, customized node operator selection, and fault-tolerant validator maintenance for high-value institutional Ethereum holdings.
- Restaking and Liquid Restaking Integration: Protocol extensions enabling compatibility with restaking platforms like EigenLayer, EtherFi, Renzo, and Stader. The system allows restaked assets and EigenPods to distribute validator operations across decentralized operator sets to reduce slashing risks.
- Developer Center and Ecosystem Grants: Development framework, software development kits, and grant programs funding third-party applications and staking integrations. The ecosystem supports over 200 integrated projects, providing documentation, client tools, and incentive programs for network builders.
