Queensland Pacific Metals (ASX:QPM) is an Australian company that is developing the TECH Project, a nickel sulphate and cobalt sulphate refinery in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. The TECH Project is expected to produce 16,000 tonnes of nickel sulphate and 1,750 tonnes of cobalt sulphate per year, and will be one of the lowest-cost nickel sulphate refineries in the world. QPM is currently in the process of constructing the TECH Project, which is expected to be completed in 2024. The company has secured offtake agreements for 100% of its nickel and cobalt production, and has received all necessary government approvals.
