Moonbirds is a non-fungible token collection consisting of 10,000 utility-enabled pixelated owl avatars deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. Launched in April 2022 by PROOF Collective, the project integrates soft-staking mechanisms called nesting, allowing holders to lock their tokens to unlock digital rewards, physical merchandise, and exclusive event access without leaving their wallet. The IP ecosystem encompasses digital art licensing, interactive gaming, and decentralized community experiences. Following acquisitions and management integrations involving web3 entities including Yuga Labs and Orange Cap Games, the project expanded its ecosystem through gaming applications, media initiatives, and cryptographic token incentive structures.
