Grange Resources is an Australian iron ore mining and pellet producer headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The company operates an integrated magnetite mining and pelletizing operation in northwest Tasmania, anchored by the Savage River open-pit and underground mine and the Port Latta pellet plant and export facility. Magnetite ore is extracted, concentrated, and transported via an 85-kilometer slurry pipeline to Port Latta, where it is transformed into high-grade iron ore pellets and concentrate for steelmakers in Australia and Asia. Grange Resources also holds a majority interest in the Southdown magnetite project located in Western Australia.
