Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG) is a global iron ore producer with operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. FMG was founded in 2003 and has grown to become one of the world's largest iron ore producers, with a production capacity of over 200 million tonnes per year. Fortescue’s wholly owned and integrated operations in the Pilbara include the Chichester and Western Hubs. FMG is investing in renewable energy and developing new technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with targets to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 terrestrial emissions across their iron ore operations by 2030 and net zero Scope 3 emissions by 2040.

Products and/or services of Fortescue
- Chichester Hub: Includes the Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek mines and has an annual production capacity of approximately 100 million tonnes per annum.
- Solomon Hub: Comprises of the Firetail, Kings Valley and Queens Valley mines which together have a production range of 65 to 70mtpa. It also includes FMG’s newest mine at Eliwana.
- Iron Bridge: Fortescue’s first magnetite operation and incorporates the North Star and Glacier Valley Magnetite ore bodies. Iron bridge is an unincorporated JV between FMG (69%) and Formosa Steel (31%).
- Green energy and hydrogen projects under development across Norway, Australia, Kenya, the United States and Brazil.
- Development of breakthrough green technology for trucks, trains, planes, ships, electrolysers, solar, cables, wind, batteries, hydrogen fuel cells and the digital industry.
