FOLKS is a decentralized finance protocol providing cross-chain tools for lending, borrowing, staking, and digital asset management. Originally launched on the Algorand blockchain, the protocol uses a hub-and-spoke architecture to unify liquidity and execution across multiple blockchain networks, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Monad. Users can supply assets to liquidity pools to earn yield, use deposited assets as collateral to borrow digital assets across connected chains, and participate in cross-chain liquid staking. Smart contracts govern automated position management, liquidations, and cross-chain messaging via interoperability protocols such as Chainlink CCIP and Wormhole NTT.
