About

Bitcoin SV is a public blockchain network and peer-to-peer electronic cash system designed to restore and scale the original Bitcoin protocol. Created in November 2018 through a hard fork of Bitcoin Cash, the network features uncapped block sizes to enable high transaction throughput, low fees, and data storage directly on the chain. Bitcoin SV uses an Unspent Transaction Output architecture that allows parallel processing and supports native smart contracts using the Bitcoin Script language. The network relies on Proof of Work consensus to secure transaction validation and record keeping for enterprise applications, micropayments, and digital token transfers.

Products and/or services of Bitcoin SV

  • Scalable Base Layer Blockchain: A public Unspent Transaction Output proof-of-work blockchain network featuring uncapped block sizes capable of processing over 13,600 transactions per second on mainnet and handling block sizes exceeding 4 gigabytes for high-volume enterprise transactions and microtransactions.
  • Teranode Architecture: A modular microservice-based node infrastructure designed for enterprise scalability that decouples transaction validation, block assembly, and storage, achieving transaction processing speeds exceeding one million transactions per second during high-throughput network testing.
  • Smart Contract Script Engine: A restored base-layer transaction execution environment supporting programmable smart contracts, custom digital tokens, zero-knowledge cryptographic proofs, and data payload scripts up to 4.2 gigabytes per transaction without requiring secondary networks or sidechains.
  • Simplified Payment Verification Infrastructure: A lightweight client verification architecture enabling edge devices and mobile applications to conduct peer-to-peer payments and verify transaction finality with near-instant settlement without maintaining or downloading the entire historical ledger on local storage.
  • ARC Transaction Broadcasting APIs: An enterprise API suite and transaction processing interface that allows application developers to submit high volumes of transactions directly to network nodes, offering real-time transaction status tracking, fee estimation, and direct broadcasting.
  • Developer Software Development Kits: Comprehensive software toolkits and development libraries supporting TypeScript, Go, and Python, enabling developers to build tokenization protocols, smart contracts, digital asset recovery mechanisms, and wallet infrastructure integrated directly into the public network.
