Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) executed definitive agreements to sell its Pizza Hut restaurant brand for $2.7 billion in the aggregate.

The asset sale follows a comprehensive strategic options review for the division that commenced in November 2025.

LongRange Capital will buy the ex-China business for $1.5 billion, and Yum China (NYSE:YUMC) will pay $1.2 billion.

Following the announcement, Yum! Brands' share price was up at $155.02.

The company expects to receive $2.3 billion in net proceeds after taxes, closing adjustments, and transaction fees.

One-time separation expenses during the remainder of 2026 are forecasted to reach approximately $85 million.
