Wix Q1 revenue climbs 14% to $541.2 million
Wix.com (NASDAQ:WIX) reported a 14% increase in first-quarter revenue to $541.2 million, as the company aggressively pivots toward proprietary artificial intelligence and capital consolidation.
The Tel Aviv-based web development leader ended the period with Total Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $1.903 billion, up 15% year-over-year, driven largely by the integration of its Base44 no-code platform and the rollout of its "Wix Harmony" AI model.
The quarter was defined by a massive restructuring of the company’s capital base.
In April, Wix completed a $1.6 billion modified Dutch Auction tender offer, repurchasing 17.5 million shares at $92 per share.
The move retired approximately 30% of the company's outstanding share capital, a significant bet on its own valuation that leaves the firm with 41.8 million shares outstanding as of mid-May.
Operationally, Wix saw balanced growth across its segments.
Business Solutions revenue rose 17% to $158.8 million, while Partners revenue surged 19% to $203.4 million.
The company also reported a 46% year-over-year increase in bookings from new user cohorts, a metric management credited to "Base44 strength."
Creative Subscriptions maintained a robust 80% non-GAAP gross margin, even as the company scaled its native AI assistant and Figma-to-web integrations.
While Wix reported a GAAP net loss of $57.5 million for the quarter—reflecting acquisition and restructuring costs—it achieved a non-GAAP net income of $42.5 million, or $0.68 per diluted share.
Free cash flow stood at $75 million, though it would have reached $112.3 million (21% of revenue) excluding one-time acquisition-related expenses.
