Watsco completes acquisition of Jackson Supply to expand Sunbelt scale
Watsco (NYSE:WSO) has finalized its acquisition of Jackson Supply Company, a prominent distributor of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, significantly expanding its operational reach across the fast-growing U.S. Sunbelt region.
Jackson Supply, which was established in 1972, generated approximately $230 million in revenue during calendar year 2025.
The transaction integrates 25 additional distribution facilities and roughly 5,000 active contractor customers into Watsco's existing network, spanning seven states across the southern tier of the country.
The acquisition aligns with Watsco's long-standing buy-and-build strategy aimed at consolidating the highly fragmented North American HVAC and refrigeration (HVAC/R) distribution market, which is currently estimated to be a $74 billion industry.
By absorbing Jackson Supply's established geographic footprint and customer relationships, Watsco seeks to scale its regional market share, leverage its digital technology platform across the newly acquired locations, and realize purchasing efficiencies through its broader supply chain network.
While specific financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the integration of Jackson Supply's business is expected to support Watsco's near-term growth metrics.
