
Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.645 billion, including $828 million organically and $817 million from acquired businesses.
The total exceeded Waters’ previous $1.616–$1.631 billion guidance, while organic revenue increased 7% from $771 million.
GAAP diluted EPS was a $1.39 loss, reflecting acquisition accounting, while adjusted EPS increased 3% to $3.05.
Following the announcement, Waters' share price was down 0.7% at $374.74 in premarket trading.
Waters also completed its combination with BD’s Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions businesses on February 9, creating four operating divisions.
Waters said stronger markets and integration progress supported revenue guidance of $6.415–$6.476 billion and adjusted EPS of $14.45–$14.65.
