Vertiv Holdings (NYSE:VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, announced on April 13, 2026, the acquisition of BMarko Structures.
The strategic move integrates specialized structural fabrication into Vertiv’s Infrastructure Solutions business in North America, aiming to meet the surging demand for rapidly deployable AI data center capacity.
BMarko Structures, founded in 2014 and headquartered in Williamston, South Carolina, is a leading provider of custom-engineered structural builds, including specialized steel and wood-frame systems.
The acquisition brings BMarko’s recently expanded 560,000-square-foot engineering and fabrication facility—located in close proximity to Vertiv’s existing regional operations—directly into the Vertiv manufacturing ecosystem.
The acquisition is designed to accelerate the delivery of prefabricated and converged infrastructure solutions, which are increasingly essential as hyperscale customers race to stand up "AI factories."
By bringing structural fabrication in-house, Vertiv expects to gain tighter control over material sourcing, manufacturing processes, and customization timelines, ultimately reducing "time-to-capacity" for its clients.
BMarko has a long-standing history with Vertiv, having collaborated on numerous complex infrastructure projects over several years.
This familiarity is expected to facilitate a smooth integration of BMarko’s workforce and engineering depth into Vertiv’s broader Infrastructure Solutions segment.
