Valmont Q2 sales jump 6.5% to $1.12 billion

Valmont Industries (NYSE:VMI) reported Q2 net sales of $1.12 billion, up 6.5%, while operating income reached $166.1 million.

Adjusted operating income rose 17.5% from $141.4 million, while diluted EPS increased 25.8% from the prior-year adjusted figure.

Valmont raised 2026 sales guidance to $4.3–$4.45 billion and EPS guidance to $22.25–$23.50 after investing $35.9 million in utility capacity.

Following the announcement, Valmont's share price was down 1.1% at $525.88 in premarket trading.

Meanwhile, infrastructure sales rose 14.8% to $878.9 million, while Agriculture sales fell 15.8% to $243.7 million.

Valmont said its broader strategy focuses on utility capacity, coatings, agricultural technology, margin expansion and higher returns on invested capital.
