U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) reported Q1 2026 net revenue of $7.288 billion and diluted EPS of $1.18, exceeding the $1.14 analyst estimate.

Net income increased 14% to $1.945 billion, while revenue grew 4.7% as net interest income rose 4.1% and fee revenue increased 6.9%.
“In the first quarter, we delivered diluted earnings per share of $1.18, up 15% year over year,” said U.S. Bancorp Chief Executive Officer Gunjan Kedia.

U.S. Bancorp forecast full-year net revenue growth of 4%–6% and at least 200 basis points of positive operating leverage for 2026.

Following the announcement, U.S. Bancorp's share price was down 1.58% at $55.48.

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) selected U.S. Bank to issue its Prime Business and Amazon Business credit cards through the Mastercard network.

U.S. Bancorp completed its BTIG acquisition on June 1, adding institutional trading, investment banking, research and prime-brokerage capabilities.
