The company also reported cumulative revenue for January to June 2026 of NT$129.77 billion, up 11.28% from NT$116.62 billion in the same period last year.
The company reported an absolute year-on-year increase of NT$4.30 billion in June revenue, indicating stronger monthly demand conditions compared with the prior year.
First-half revenue increased by NT$13.15 billion year over year, reflecting sustained growth across the semiconductor manufacturing business.
UMC is one of the world’s largest semiconductor foundries, producing wafers for global chip customers across multiple end markets.
