United Community Banks (NYSE:UCB) reported Q2 2026 net income of $115.6 million as total revenue increased 7% to $279.3 million.
Net income rose from $78.7 million last year and $84.3 million in Q1, while operating EPS increased 8% to $0.71.
Results included a $38.5 million Navitas allowance release and a $4.5 million California lender-licence settlement, producing a negative $29.8 million provision.
Following the announcement, United Community Banks' share price was down 1.1% at $36.03 in premarket trading.
United agreed to sell Navitas to Wafra-managed funds for $1.9 billion and said the transaction should close in Q3 2026.
United also agreed to acquire Peach State Bancshares for approximately $100.8 million and said that transaction should close in Q3 2026.
