EagleNXT (NYSE:UAVS) announced on January 2, 2026, a successful sale of six eBee TAC tactical mapping drones to the U.S. Army.

The transaction was facilitated through the company's European strategic partner, Dronivo GmbH, and represents a key win for the firm following its comprehensive 2025 rebrand from AgEagle Aerial Systems.

The eBee TAC is a lightweight, fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed specifically for tactical edge missions.

Each of the six systems delivered to the Army is outfitted with advanced S.O.D.A. 3D and Duet M sensors.

These payloads, combined with full Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) activation, allow the units to achieve centimeter-level mapping accuracy without the need for traditional ground control points.

The U.S. Army intends to deploy the drones across a variety of operational environments.

According to the company, the systems will support missions ranging from border surveillance and search-and-rescue to counterinsurgency and tactical mapping for operational planning.

The sale adds to the growing adoption of the platform by U.S. defense and public safety customers.
