
Tvardi Therapeutics reports phase one clinical trial data
- Tvardi reported Phase 1 data for TTI-109, a phosphate prodrug of STAT3 inhibitor TTI-101.
- TTI-109 showed near-identical exposure to TTI-101 at molar-equivalent doses and shorter diarrhea duration.

Tvardi Therapeutics (NASDAQ:TVRD) reported Phase 1 data for TTI-109, a phosphate prodrug of STAT3 inhibitor TTI-101, including up to 60% reductions in STAT3-driven Th17, Tfh, and B cell populations.
The update follows earlier company guidance that topline TTI-109 healthy volunteer data and a clinical development strategy were expected in 2026.
Tvardi said TTI-109 showed rapid conversion to TTI-101, near-identical exposure at molar-equivalent doses, and stable 21-day pharmacokinetics.
The company also reported shorter diarrhea duration with TTI-109 than TTI-101, at 0.46 days compared with 3.35 days.
Following the announcement the Tvardi Therapeutics share price was up at $2.01.
Tvardi said it plans to advance TTI-109 into STAT3-driven dermatologic and gastrointestinal diseases, subject to additional funding and IND clearance.
Recent company updates have focused on TTI-109, TTI-101, STAT3-driven disease programs, hepatocellular carcinoma data expected in 2026, and cash runway into Q4 2026.
