TPG (NASDAQ:TPG) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.84 billion and diluted EPS of $0.39, reversing a $0.05 loss one year earlier.

Revenue increased from $920.5 million, while the company’s underlying earnings result exceeded analysts’ expectations for the quarter.

TPG is balancing selective capital deployment with portfolio realizations, while its board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.59 per Class A share.

Following the announcement, TPG's share price was up 7.2% at $49.64 in early trading.

TPG ended the quarter with $327 billion in assets under management across private equity, credit, real estate, impact and market-solutions strategies.

Axel André became TPG’s chief financial officer on July 27, succeeding Jack Weingart, who now leads the firm’s Global Wealth Solutions business.
