The 2 GW figure represents nameplate manufacturing capacity at the expanded Texas site rather than immediate reported production volumes.
The expansion project involved an investment of hundreds of millions of dollars alongside a commitment to utilize exclusively U.S. polysilicon.
Concurrently, corporate management presented its updated long-term growth strategy and operational roadmap during an Analyst Day presentation.
The company also outlined plans to build a heterojunction (HJT) solar cell production line at the same location.
TOYO expects to complete the specialized HJT solar cell line during the first quarter of 2028 to expand integrated domestic manufacturing.
