
Tims China posts softer Q2 results as revenue falls 21.7%
- Tims China reported Q2 2026 revenue of RMB273.4 million, down 21.7% year over year, as store closures and lower same-store sales reduced revenue.
- Net loss widened to RMB97.4 million and adjusted Corporate EBITDA turned to a RMB21 million loss, while company-operated store contribution margin fell to 5.7%.
- The company is shifting its store mix toward made-to-order locations while seeking to improve products, marketing and customer engagement.
Tims China (NASDAQ:THCH) reported Q2 2026 revenue of RMB273.4 million, down 21.7% year over year, as company-operated store revenue fell to RMB220.9 million.
Revenue compared with RMB349 million a year earlier as company-operated same-store sales declined 17.3% and quarterly orders fell 20.7% to 8.3 million.
Operating loss widened to RMB58.1 million, net loss increased to RMB97.4 million and adjusted Corporate EBITDA shifted to a RMB21 million loss.
Following the announcement, Tims China's share price was unchanged at $1.68 in premarket trading.
Tims China ended June with 1,028 stores, including 780 made-to-order locations, while registered loyalty members increased 41.7% to 37.1 million.
The company said it plans to invest in product innovation, marketing and a more balanced company-operated and franchised store network after completing an initial $15.8 million convertible-note financing tranche in July
