The9 (NASDAQ:NCTY) reported unaudited net income of US$32 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up more than 39% from the previous quarter, driven mainly by fair-value recognition of 9BIT tokens.
The company reported first-half 2026 net income of US$55 million, its highest half-year profit since its 2004 initial public offering, according to The9.
The9 received 475 million 9BIT tokens during the second quarter, bringing total first-half receipts to 1.9 billion tokens, while its cryptocurrency holdings were valued at about US$120 million, including 347 BTC and 1.9 billion 9BIT tokens.
The9 stated that its AI gaming ecosystem reached more than 180,000 AI-assisted games created and 41 brand partners, with 127 additional partners in the pipeline.
The company’s investee Nanyang Biologics advanced its planned Nasdaq listing after RF Acquisition Corp II (NASDAQ:RFAI) shareholders approved a business combination, with The9 expecting to hold about 15%–16% of the combined company.
The9’s board also approved a long-term incentive plan covering up to 12% of outstanding shares, subject to quarterly net income exceeding first-quarter 2026 levels, a condition met by the Q2 result.
