Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) reported second-quarter vehicle deliveries of 480,126 units to surpass average market projections.
The total delivery figure represents an increase from the 384,122 vehicles delivered during the second quarter of last year.
The company stated that it manufactured a total of 451,758 vehicles across all production facilities during the period.
Model 3 and Model Y units comprised the majority of volume with 467,762 deliveries, while other models added 12,364 units.
Following the announcement, Tesla's share price was up at $428.66.
In addition to automotive metrics, the company deployed 13.5 GWh of energy storage products during the quarter.
The organization plans to report its full financial results for the second quarter after market close on July 22.
