TeraWulf (NASDAQ:WULF) secured expanded electrical capacity to accelerate development at its Muskie Data Campus.
The site, acquired in May 2026 for AI and high-performance computing initiatives, maintains its target to begin ramping the initial 500 MW phase in 2028.
Kentucky Power is actively developing a dedicated substation connected to the regional transmission network to support the massive energy load.
Following the announcement, TeraWulf's share price was up at $7.40.
Looking beyond the current 1 GW commitment, leadership continues evaluating potential expansion up to 2 GW, contingent on further utility planning and regulatory compliance.
All future construction will align directly with Governor Beshear's Executive Order on Data Center Development.
