The precision medicine division delivered $202 million during the period, offsetting a 6% manufacturing segment decline.
The company stated it expects full-year revenue and other income to exceed $1 billion following operational growth.
The financial outlook includes $40 million in non-refundable income from a strategic collaboration with Regeneron (NASDAQ:REGN).
Management also increased the annual research and development expenditure guidance to a range of $230–$270 million.
The corporate update follows an expanded global manufacturing network and a $600 million convertible bond refinancing.
