  • Teledyne Technologies launched three new military vehicle vision systems featuring 360-degree situational awareness capabilities.
  • The launch expands the company's hardware portfolio, which currently has over 3,500 systems deployed globally.
  • The company stated the upgraded systems are designed to support target detection and operator safety in low-visibility environments.

Teledyne Technologies (NYSE:TDY) announced the release of three military vehicle vision systems featuring 1280p sensors for target detection.

The release introduces new hardware to the defense market, updating equipment that is currently deployed across nearly 20 countries.

"As battlefield hazards evolve, visibility in complex environments is critical to warfighter safety and success," said Teledyne FLIR Defense Vice President of Surveillance Systems Nicklas Friberg.

The company stated that the SA90-HD and DV55-HD systems integrate thermal and color cameras to provide operators with up to 360-degree coverage.

The newly introduced MilSight LIRC III acts as a vehicle-mounted thermal imager integrated directly with the gunner’s sight for long-range target acquisition.

All three systems are manufactured at the company's facilities located in Täby, Sweden, and are currently available for customer orders.
