Tandem Diabetes expands Mobi insulin system overseas

• Tandem Diabetes Care launched Tandem Mobi in 12 countries outside the United States, expanding access to its automated insulin delivery system.

Tandem Diabetes Care (NASDAQ:TNDM) announced that Tandem Mobi, its automated insulin delivery system, is now available in 12 countries outside the United States, with the company accepting orders and shipping to eligible customers.

The expansion includes Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom as Tandem Diabetes increases availability of its insulin delivery technology.

“This expansion of Tandem Mobi access is an exciting next step in our strategy to offer a differentiated portfolio of durable insulin pumps to more people around the world,” said Igor Friedmann, Senior Vice President, International at Tandem Diabetes Care.

Tandem Mobi uses Control-IQ+ technology and integrates with the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitoring system to predict glucose levels 30 minutes ahead and adjust insulin delivery every five minutes, while the system also includes a 200-unit cartridge and mobile app control through compatible iPhones.

Following the announcement the Tandem Diabetes Care share price was unchanged at $XX.

Tandem Diabetes Care develops insulin delivery systems and diabetes management technologies, including automated insulin delivery products for people managing insulin therapy.

The company said Tandem Mobi will continue expanding to additional markets, with Android compatibility expected in select countries in 2027 and additional CGM sensor integrations under development.
