
Sypris reports lower Q2 revenue of $30.3 million

Sypris Solutions (NASDAQ:SYPR) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $30.3 million, down 3.5% year over year, while net loss widened to $3.1 million.
The results compared with $31.4 million in revenue and a $2.1 million net loss a year earlier, while loss per share increased to $0.14 from $0.09.
Second-quarter results included $2.1 million of higher healthcare, unabsorbed overhead, foreign-exchange, scrap and excess-and-obsolete inventory expenses compared with the prior-year period.
Following the announcement, Sypris Solutions' share price was down 0.49% at $2.03 in premarket trading.
Sypris Technologies revenue increased 5.6% to $14.9 million and gross profit rose 28% to $2.7 million, while Sypris Electronics revenue declined to $15.5 million.
Sypris said orders increased 25% sequentially as Electronics bookings rose 54%, while first-half energy product bookings increased 12% year over year.
