Syntec Optics wins $100 million space backlog

Syntec Optics Holdings (NASDAQ:OPTX) announced an order to supply advanced optical components for U.S. Space Force infrastructure and U.S. National Reconnaissance Office satellite constellations.
The company said the optics will support next-generation government satellite networks designed to increase reconnaissance revisit rates, coverage and operational resilience through large low-Earth-orbit satellite deployments.
Syntec said its optical systems are designed to operate in extreme space temperatures and support real-time tracking and high-speed data transmission from satellites to military ground locations.
The company stated that it is developing a pro forma outlook for its space product lines with backlog exceeding $100 million, supported by its experience manufacturing thousands of laser communication connections for satellite systems.
Syntec Optics produces precision optical components and assemblies used across industries including defense, aerospace, medical technology and communications.
