SunCar Technology Group (NASDAQ:SDA) released its preliminary, unaudited financial estimates for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, signaling a major financial turnaround.

The Shanghai-based provider of digital automotive after-sales services and online auto insurance intermediation in China projected its third consecutive quarter of net profitability, driven by sustained top-line expansion and localized margin optimization.

According to preliminary corporate calculations, SunCar expects to record a net income of approximately $1 million for the three-month period.

This represents a substantial bottom-line recovery compared to the net loss of $3.6 million reported during the first quarter of 2025.

The company's swing to profitability was anchored by robust top-line momentum, with first-quarter revenue forecast to reach approximately $128 million.

This target reflects a 25% year-over-year growth trajectory compared to the $102.4 million generated in the prior-year period.

Management attributed the strong performance to the successful scaling of its integrated B2B digital platform, which seamlessly connects enterprise clients—such as major banks, insurance companies, and telecom operators—with an expansive nationwide network of automotive service providers.
