STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM) reported second-quarter net revenue of $3.49 billion, up 26%, with net income reaching $222 million.

Revenue exceeded the $3.45 billion midpoint of its outlook and the $3.39 billion analyst estimate, while diluted EPS improved from a $0.11 loss to $0.24.

Operating income included $58 million in restructuring and impairment costs and $24 million in purchase-accounting effects from the NXP sensor acquisition.

Following the announcement, STMicroelectronics' share price was down about 15% in Paris trading as investors assessed its third-quarter forecast.

Elsewhere, STMicroelectronics generated $502 million in operating cash flow and $75 million in free cash flow, while its net financial position remained at $2.01 billion.

STMicroelectronics said it expects third-quarter revenue of about $3.70 billion, fourth-quarter revenue above $4 billion and data-center sales exceeding $1 billion in 2026.
