StealthGas (NASDAQ:GASS) reported second-quarter 2026 net income of $17.3 million, or basic earnings per share of $0.46, compared with $20.4 million and $0.55 per share in the prior-year period.
Revenue declined to $42.9 million from $47.2 million, mainly due to a lower average fleet size of 26.4 vessels compared with 28.3 vessels in the second quarter of 2025, while average daily time charter equivalent reached $15,709.
StealthGas reported EBITDA of $22.1 million, voyage expenses of $7.2 million due to higher bunker costs and increased spot days, operating expenses of $12.8 million, and depreciation expense of $5.9 million during the quarter.
StealthGas reported contracted revenues of approximately $30 million from remaining 2026 fleet days and total contracted revenues of about $90 million excluding the joint venture vessel.
StealthGas owns and operates a fleet of liquefied petroleum gas carriers serving global energy transportation markets.
For the first six months of 2026, StealthGas reported revenue of $85.8 million, net income of $33.2 million, EBITDA of $42.8 million, and cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments of $168.3 million at June 30, 2026, which increased to more than $250 million after an insurance claim settlement.
