
Standard Nuclear backlog reaches $576.9 million

Standard Nuclear (NYSE:STDN) reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $4.7 million, up from $0.6 million in the prior-year period, while total contract backlog later increased to $576.9 million following new customer agreements.
The company reported total contract backlog of $241.5 million as of June 30, 2026, compared with $91.3 million on March 31, 2026, while funded backlog increased to $61.9 million from $8.2 million.
Standard Nuclear Chief Executive Officer said the company continued converting its qualified pipeline into long-term contracts and advancing production capabilities, according to the company’s earnings announcement.
During the quarter, Standard Nuclear delivered 50 kgU of TRISO fuel and completed delivery of the remaining reactor core after quarter end, marking the first reactor core of commercially produced TRISO fuel supplied by an independent U.S. manufacturer, according to the company.
Standard Nuclear stated that construction was substantially completed at its Tennessee and Idaho production facilities, with startup, commissioning, and authorization activities underway and operating authorization targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The company also completed an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, adding approximately $137.7 million in net proceeds, and reported a pro forma debt-free balance sheet with approximately $239.9 million in cash.
