Sprinklr acquires ViralMoment assets to expand video AI analytics

Share

Sprinklr (NYSE:CXM) has acquired the assets of ViralMoment, an artificial intelligence startup specializing in social video intelligence and analytics.

The transaction aims to integrate video-native tracking features into Sprinklr's enterprise Unified Customer Experience Management (Unified-CXM) platform, addressing an industry-wide pivot toward highly visual digital media. Financial terms of the asset purchase were not disclosed.

The acquisition comes as traditional corporate social listening and Voice of the Customer (VoC) frameworks face mounting structural limitations.

While digital audience engagement has largely shifted toward short-form video formats on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, standard corporate sentiment tracking remains predominantly dependent on text-based indexing.

Sprinklr expects the transaction to eliminate these analytical blind spots by capturing unstructured data signals embedded directly within visual frames and audio tracks.

ViralMoment’s core technology uses specialized machine learning models to process video content frame by frame.

The system scans moving imagery, background audio, and superimposed on-screen text to identify emerging cultural narratives and creative patterns before they surface in written discussions.

Karthik Suri, Sprinklr's Chief Product and Corporate Strategy Officer, noted that the technology will advance the software provider's ability to interpret and reason across multiple media types, serving as a foundation for next-generation agentic AI systems grounded in real-world consumer context.

Following the asset transfer, corporate marketing, product development, and customer service teams using Sprinklr will be able to capture visual brand feedback and track broader market trends in real time.
