Snap-on revenue increases 4.7% to $1.24 billion

Snap-on (NYSE:SNA) reported second-quarter sales of $1.24 billion, up 4.7%, while diluted EPS increased to $4.96.

Organic sales rose 3%, while net earnings increased 4.1% to $260.6 million from $250.3 million.

Gross margin expanded 90 basis points to 51.4%, although consolidated operating margin slipped 30 basis points to 25.2%.

Following the announcement, Snap-on's share price was up 1.6% at $413.62 in extended trading.

Commercial & Industrial sales reached $395.8 million, supported by organic growth and contributions from recently acquired operations.

Snap-on completed the Hi-Force and Diesel Laptops acquisitions and projected approximately $100 million in 2026 capital spending.
