SLB wins Oman production facility contract

• SLB (NYSE:SLB) received a contract from OQ Exploration & Production to deliver the Bisat-B Expansion Production Facility in Oman.
• The project will increase gross fluids handling capacity to 548,000 barrels per day and is scheduled for completion within 19 months.
• SLB will provide engineering, construction, commissioning, and four years of operations and maintenance support.

SLB (NYSE:SLB) received a contract from OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP) to deliver the Bisat-B Expansion Production Facility in Oman.

The project will expand the Bisat Field facility’s gross fluids handling capacity to 548,000 barrels per day, with completion scheduled within 19 months.

“We are pleased to continue supporting OQEP in the development of production infrastructure for the Bisat Field,” said SLB President, Middle East and North Africa Jesus Lamas.

SLB will provide design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services, followed by four years of operations and maintenance support for the facility.

The contract represents the next development phase of the Bisat Field and follows SLB’s previous delivery of the Bisat-A facility in 2018 and the original Bisat-B facility in 2020.

SLB said the project builds on its existing relationship with OQEP and will provide integrated project delivery services to support production infrastructure development in Oman.
